Paul, I think you might be interested in Tuesday's Newsnight feature on how YouTube is affecting political debate in China, if you haven't seen it yet. It's on the front page of the Newsnight site now: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/default.stm In future days you should be able to find it on the iPlayer. Hyde Park Corner with millions of people in it seems a pretty apt analogy. The 21st century of Hyde Park corner may be right, but the 2st century version is avery different thing to the 19th century version.
