We are building a new platform on which you can easily publish, read, and share digital magazines: www.magsty.com. Currently, we are privately inviting journalists, editors, writers, and bloggers to be the first to publish digital magazines on Magsty. You will be able to create unique magazines under which you can publish articles for the world to read and share.

What differentiates Magsty from a blog you ask?

Well, other than the technologically revolutionary semantics that are going on underneath Magsty's hood, there's the smooth, elegant browsing and reading experience we're working on that is unmatched elsewhere. Readers can seamlessly browse through all of your digital magazines on a single platform, and the pioneering page-swiping user interface makes blog page scrolling look like it's 1999.

We are working very hard to launch Magsty for beta consumption in the coming weeks. These are exciting times for journalism, and we believe that Magsty just might be the next major step forward in our industry. So stay tuned, post your email on our landing page, and kindly invite fellow associates and society members to do the same for updates and our launch date at www.magsty.com.

Sincerely,
Team Magsty

I am with Thomson Reuters Foundation TrustMedia team and after reviewing your website we would be really interested in featuring your content.

Thomson Reuters TrustMedia offers journalists the opportunity to learn the skills and values to succeed in their field through journalism training programmes, and offers media training to help organisations interact with the media in a clear, professional, and direct way. Along with these programmes, TrustMedia provides insight, information and tools for journalists to use via our new website http://www.trust.org/trustmedia/ .

With TrustMedia launching our new website comes the increasing need for more news content and RSS feeds from potential partners such as Online Journalism Blog.
Hello

My name is Adam Chadwick. I am a former New York Times copy-editor, who, unfortunately was part of the lay-offs in the newsroom this past December with the company. For the past year I have been working on an independent documentary film about the U.S. newspaper titled "Fit to Print".

The film focuses on a broad number of issues facing our current newspaper industry crisis and the large transition within general reporting these days and the rise of grassroots and citizen journalism. I'm contacting you because of your blog. I would love to hear of any major news stories you have broken on your site or perhaps any major corrections you have caught within the legacy news media (which would have otherwise not gone reported or corrected). I would love to hear more about your involvement with this and potentially set up an interview with you at some point.

To find out more on the project, we have a website (under construction) at www.fittoprintfilm.com with a teaser trailer and complete synopsis for the project.

I can be reached at adamgchadwick (at) gmail (dot) com

Best,
Adam Chadwick

Dear Team:
We wanted to approach you in regards to an initiative which may be useful for Online Journalism: Opolis Secure Mail provides free, encrypted email and messaging services, whereby the sender decides what the recipent can actually do with a message and its content. And, the sender can always monitor and track emails (also to whom - if allowed - these were forwarded).
Our thoughts are in regards to investigative journalists, who may benefit from this application, especially when working on highly sensitive reports. Interestingly enough, the service works from every host PC, and working with Opolis there would not leave any "traces" there either.
Would be great, if this were of interest to you.
The Opolis Team is also avail for any questions you may have.
Thanks!

I work for an international company called Educaedu, an online directory for students searching for higher education programs. We have websites in 19 countries throughout mainly Europe and Latin America, including one in the UK. The Educaedu point of difference is that students who want to study overseas have access to information about programs and courses offered in other countries, all through the same portal.

We would like to be featured in your blog if our site is of interest to you. I think your users would find this resource valuable. If you are interested in more information, please send me an email and I can send you our Press Release.
Kind regards
Carly

Subject - Invitation to be a premium influencer on MyLikes

Hey Paul,

I am writing from MyLikes, an ex-Google social media/twitter advertising company that connects influencers on the web to advertisers. I wanted to send you an invite to be a premium influencer on MyLikes.

This is an invite-only program that allows power Twitter users such as yourself, to make money by creating Sponsored Likes /ads for advertisers they choose and post them to Twitter. You get to set a price per tweet and accept / reject advertiser offers and write your own Sponsored Likes/tweets. There is an extremely low minimum payout ($2) and as an advertising network we don't take a cut.

http://mylikes.com/p

We are also running a contest to win a Apple iPad. Given your following, you should have a significant chance of winning it.

Let me know if you need any help in signing up for this program.

Thanks,
Serena Davis.
