Since putting together this idea I’ve been seeing potential investigation questions everywhere (it’s my hope that the same will happen to users). Here are just some of those that have struck me in the past few months:
- Why does my doctor have an 0845 number?
- Does my local baker use half-baked frozen bread?
- Which retailers use the least and most packaging?
- What percentage of revenue does the NSPCC spend on marketing?
- Why are there 3 cancer charities?
- How much do hospitals make from parking?
- Why has children’s medicine Medised changed the minimum age you can take it from 6 months to 2 years?
- How much energy does it cost to keep a supermarket open 24 hrs?
- How much riskier is it to give birth at night?
- What the money was spent on at my local leisure centre?
- Why bus fares have gone up 10%?
- Why are there no litter bins in Birmingham?
- Is it legal to have a gagging clause in an NHS employment contract?
- Are [unnamed retailer] putting employees’ health at risk by expecting them to carry pushchairs up stairs?
- How can Tesco charge £1.58 for 4 Finest Yorkshire puddings?
- How is protest being criminalised?
- How much money from Strictly Come Dancing goes to charity, how much to the BBC, and how much to stars?
- What happened to Ian Tomlinson on the day that he died?
- These unanswered questions about the Hillsborough Disaster
- Why are crisp packets so big?
If you have any yourself, please let me know.
