Web now “core” to NYT

A brief posting at Poynter points towards a report on comments by Times chairman and publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. at the World Economic Forum. “The Web is no longer “ancillary” to the future of the New York Times,” reports Poynter; “it’s now “core” and has more readers than the print edition, according to Sulzberger [who] said the print edition still generates substantially more revenue than online.”
