Web news/lecture/talking heads video in general should be using the ‘white space’ in any intro titles, spinning 3D idents and credits to provide a parallel summary of the content of the video. I don’t want to wait more than 7 seconds to get to the meat of a video’s content – but if I must wait theough up to 30 seconds of piffle, then at least use that dead space for a summary of content – ideally with clickable hotspots or tag clouds that allow me to fast-forward to the exact content I’ve arrived wanting to get straight to.
How about find some genuine stories instead of churning out wires and PR copy?
How about continuning to do the great job its been doing for the last ten years?
